Oceanis 34 Yacht Charter Capri

Yes, it's always a good idea to have insurance when you hire a yacht or boat. Insurance can protect you against unexpected expenses or damages that may occur during your charter, such as damage to the yacht, injury to passengers, or loss of personal belongings. SEARADAR offers its own insurance product, the free deposit pack, which allows you to insure 100% of the deposit. This provides an extra layer of protection and peace of mind during your charter.

The qualifications you need to hire a boat or yacht will depend on the country and region where you plan to sail. In Croatia, for example, you are required by law to have a valid sailing license or certificate to operate a yacht or boat. The type of license or certificate you need will depend on the size and type of vessel you plan to operate. If you have a valid sailing license or certificate from your home country, it may be recognized in Croatia. If you don't have a sailing license or certificate, you can hire a skipper to handle the yacht for you.

If your yacht breaks down during your charter, the first thing you should do is to inform us as soon as possible. We will provide you with instructions on what to do next and may send a technician to fix the problem or provide you with a replacement yacht, depending on the severity of the issue.

When hiring a yacht, there are several important factors to consider to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Here are some things to keep in mind: Size and Type of Yacht: Consider the size and type of yacht that will best suit your needs. Factors to consider include the number of people in your party, your budget, and your itinerary. Crew: Determine whether you need a crew for your yacht charter. If you are an experienced sailor, you may be able to charter a yacht without a crew. However, if you are new to sailing or want to relax and enjoy the trip, a crewed yacht may be a better option. Itinerary: Plan your itinerary in advance to ensure that you visit the destinations you want to see. Research the area and check the availability of mooring spaces and marinas. Season and Weather: Consider the season and weather when planning your trip. Summer is the most popular season for yacht charter in many destinations, but it may be crowded and more expensive. Be aware of weather conditions and avoid sailing in bad weather. Budget: Set a budget for your yacht charter and be aware of additional costs, such as fuel, mooring fees, and food and drink expenses. Choose a yacht that fits within your budget and consider booking in advance to get the best deals. Safety: Make sure that the yacht you hire is properly equipped with safety equipment, such as life jackets, flares, and a first aid kit. Be aware of safety regulations and follow the rules of the sea.

Yes, indicate your request in the comments to the order, and we will give you a deferred payment by placing the yacht on reserve for you.

Yacht charters are available for any period. But there are generally accepted rules. For example, sailing yachts are most often rented weekly: Saturday to Saturday. You can charter for 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, etc.

You can rent a yacht with a captain who will take care of all the issues related to the yacht's management. Simply choose this option in the extras. All you need to do is get with your friends together, bring all the essentials and embark on an exciting yacht trip! It's easier than you think, even if it's the first charter you've ever been on!
