Montenegro: Bay of Kotor

  • Level of difficulty: easy
  • Season: May – September
  • Service: 3/5

A popular route for first time yachting or for skippers who want to get some training. Very short crossings, most of them on the wind-protected waters of the Bay of Kotor. Onshore – traditional Montenegrin hospitality.

The service is much worse than in Croatia, but people are much friendlier. For those who can’t get enough of the bay, you can go outside and head towards Bar and Ulcinj or the other side, towards Dubrovnik.

Traditional route: Porto Montenegro – Bijeljela – Kotor – Herceg Novi – Bigovo – Budva – Porto Montenegro.
