Planning & Ionian Sailing
Why is Lefkada a top Greek charter base?
Huge fleet choice, easy airport access via PVK, and quick access to blue-water Ionian classics — Meganisi channels, Sivota bays, and longer hops toward Kefalonia.

Aktion serves many crews; taxi/transfer times to Lefkas town marina vary — book return transfers on busy Saturdays.
The floating bridge — any yacht limits?
Mast clearance and operating rules apply — your charter check-in briefing covers whether your yacht transits north/south of the canal zone; do not assume car-bridge clearances equal sailing clearance.
